Commentary from Carlisle

There will be full commentary on BBC Hereford and Worcester's 94.7FM frequency of this evening's League One game between Carlisle and Hereford United.

As ever Keith Hall will be behind the microphone.

The Bulls will hope to put an end to their poor run of results with a win over a Carlisle side not yet safe from relegation.

"We needed to start winning four or five games ago and we are starting to run out of games," striker Steve Guinan told BBC H&W.

"We need to start creating things in front of goal. At the moment we can't seem to keep a clean sheet, and that's not the fault of the defence, it's the team as a whole.

"We have to put it right sooner than later, or we are going to go down."

This evening's referee is Cheshire based Scott Mathieson who is no stranger to either club.

43 year old Mathieson has been a National list match official since 1990, spending four seasons on the line before promotion to the referees list in 1994.

Hereford United have already seen Mathieson once this season as he was in charge of the home game against Walsall which ended goal-less. That day he booked just one player and he was from the Walsall team.

To date he has officiated in 32 games this season giving out 73 yellow and 5 red cards.

Meanwhile with neither HUISA nor HUMADS putting on a coach for the game it looks as though the number of Hereford supporters at the game could be the lowest at an away game for many years. The FUNBUS is travelling to the game but even if full will only be taking about 16 fans.

Whilst current form isn't exactly helping, the idea of such a long trip to watch a game on a Tuesday evening isn't very practical for most supporters.

Finally there are three other League One matches this evening:

Carlisle v Hereford
Cheltenham v Oldham
MK Dons v Crewe
Northampton v Swindon
