Weather playing havoc with training

Most football clubs in the lower leagues are having difficulty finding places to train at present. The wintery weather has left many pitches either covered with snow or frosted.

And with the forecast suggesting a cold night on Friday, there is the potential for several games to be called off this weekend.

Herefordshire has missed the worst of the weather as at this morning and Graham Turner will be hoping the game at Edgar Street on Saturday against Brighton can go ahead. The last but one home game against Leeds was postponed but the pitch inspection was done in good time which was noted by the Football League.

Brighton had to train indoors yesterday but were hoping to return outside this morning. They have a couple of new players in their squad and want to integerate them 'into their game plan'.

“Hereford are scrapping for their lives, very much like we are. We’ve gone four games unbeaten so we want to go there and be positive,” Adams told the Argus.
