Scunthorpe pitch already covered.

With temperatures in Narth Lincolnshire expected to fall to minus 3C on Friday night, Scunthorpe have already had the playing surface covered.

A spokesman has this afternoon confirmed that they fully expect the game to be on and will be taking delivery of additional frost protection sheets on Friday morning which will be laid on top of the existing covers. No planned pitch inspection was mentioned.

Kick-off at Glanford Park is scheduled for 3.00 pm with many travelling Bulls fans expected to start their journeys from The Shire at around 9.00 am.
