Steve Guinan has told the Yorkshire Evening Press how all the players are looking forward to the visit of Leeds to Edgar Street tomorrow.
"It will be like a cup tie for us. Everyone at the club is looking forward to it, no-one more so than the players," said Hereford United's top scorer.
"When you consider the size of our club compared to Leeds, then the whole club and city can't wait for it.
"I don't know whether it will be a full house, but it will be close to it. It will be a great atmosphere and no doubt Leeds will pack out the away end. And with it being a tight little ground, it will be like a cup-tie atmosphere and hopefully that will spur us on.
"It's like the old tradition. Leeds aren't going to fancy coming to our ground, compared to Elland Road – it's not exactly the same is it? But we've got to try and use that sort of thing to our advantage.
"When the fixtures came out, we all looked for the Leeds and Leicester games. Everyone tipped us for relegation from League Two last year and back into the Conference. We surprised almost everyone by getting promoted and these games are the rewards for us.
"For us to be promoted from League Two and to play Leeds United home and away is what it's all about."
