News Round Up

Yeovil target Luke Rodgers has had his contract terminated by Port Vale by mutual consent. The two sides had agreed a £30,000 transfer fee for the player, but Yeovil appeared reluctant to match his Vale Park wages. Swindon boss Danny Wilson wants his ex-Hartlepool loanee Kevin Kyle at the County Ground.

Ex-Bull Joe Anyinsah has completed a move from Preston to Carlisle on an 18 month deal for an undisclosed sum. Carlisle have also signed Sunderland man Graham Kavanagh on an 18 month deal as player/coach after a loan spell. Colchester have had a second move for Wycombe defender Mike Williamson rejected.

Hartlepool have confirmed talks with veteran striker Dean Windass, but expect the player to go to a Championship club. Oldham have offloaded winger JP Kalala to Grimsby on a free transfer. Millwall are claimed to be about to sign Stevenage striker Steve Morison for £200,000. Yeovil have completed the permanent signing of Gary Roberts from Crewe on a free transfer.

Leeds have signed Bristol City striker Lee Trundle on a months loan. The loan will currently expire before the Bulls' rearranged match with the Yorkshire side. Peterboro have loaned goalkeeper Mark Tyler to Bury for a month as ex-Bull Wayne Brown is carrying an injury.
