News Round Up

Oldham have loaned striker Chris O'Grady to Bradford for a month. The 22 year old had a loan at Bury earlier in the season. Carlisle striker Kevin Gall has returned to the club after Lincoln decided not to offer him a permanent deal. Millwall are to sign Welsh international defender Richard Duffy on a free transfer from Portsmouth. The 23 year old played just one Premier League match in five years for Pompey after a £500,000 move from Swansea.

Leeds starlet Fabien Delph is set for Man Utd according to the press. The fee ranges from £6m to £10m. According to Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan: "The club is losing money hand over fist." That proclamation comes during the same Evening Leader article that also said an offer to loan three players to Northwich was on the basis "we would fully subsidise the deals."

Bournemouth have offloaded Director of Football Ted Sutton and psychologist Oli Butterworth as cost cutting measures under the new owners. In a frank discussion with supporters after yesterday's match Rushden boss Garry Hill admitted the club were a selling club due to the current climate, and that two players had already agreed moves away.

Peterboro have rejected six-figure bids from Rotherham and Shrewsbury for striker Liam Hatch. They have also turned down two loan offers, one from current club Darlington where he has scored seven times in 14 games.
