Hartlepool striker Richie Barker has joined Rotherham on a permanent basis after a loan spell. Carlisle have confirmed Dennis Booth as assistant to boss Greg Abbott. He was previously in the role under Paul Simpson, following him to Preston. Scunthorpe utility man Andrew Wright has signed a new 18 month deal at the club. Shrewsbury have signed WBA 19 year old midfielder Joss Labadie on an initial 28-day loan deal.

Yeovil are to open talks with Luke Rodgers over his proposed £30,000 transfer from Port Vale. Midfielder Darren Way, injured in a car accident two weeks ago, faces a series of leg and hip operations before he will discover whether his career is over. Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has been named manager of the month for December.

Weymouth's new board has offered Alan Lewer the manager's job on a full time basis. The board have cut the club's budget, with two players leaving immediately. One is Josh Webb, brother of ex-Bull Luke, who joins Farnborough. Bristol Rovers have loaned striker Josh Klein-Davies to Lewes for a month.

Cheltenham have confirmed the signing of loanee Drissa Diallo from MK Dons on an 18 month contract and handed striker Elvis Hammond a new 18 month deal.
