There is speculation that Sam Hewson could be loaned out by Manchester United to Hereford United.
One of the Man Utd forums, RedCafe.net has a post which reads:
Sir Alex told MUTV that he had spoken to Hereford about letting them have Sam Hewson on loan for the rest of the season.
Doubt he has a future here - I had big hopes for him a few seasons ago but now he is 20 years old and far away from the first team!
Born in Bolton, Hewson is a midfielder. Teammate Johnny Evans sums him up in an article on the official Man Utd website:
“Everyone at United knows what Sam's about. He's good at getting in the box and scoring goals from midfield. He's probably better when he's running onto things, and people here are always comparing him to Paul Scholes in the sense that he gets into the box to score a lot of goals. He's got a good shot on him as well and he can run all day. He's got a lot of power in his game and he's a very good midfield player.”
