We deserved to lose said Trewick

Hereford United coach John Trewick didn't mince his words in his post match interview with Steve Miller.

"Over the ninety minutes we didn't deserve anything than the defeat that we got," Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

The defeat last night cost the Bulls £20,000 and on top of that around 45% of the recepits from a round two tie at the Walkers Stadium which might have been worth anything up £70,000 or £80,000.

"It's not only the financial side but the fact that we could have gone to Leicester against a good side and put on a decent show hopefully and possibly progress to the third round, who knows," commented Trewick.
