John Ward has left his job as manager of Carlisle United by mutual consent.
Ward secured just one point from the last 30, with his team conceding ten goals without reply in the last four games. He lasted 13 months in the job, losing out in last season's play-offs then seeing striker Joe Garner and goalkeeper Kieran Westwood sold in the summer.
Assistant boss Greg Abbott has been placed in temporary charge. He was temporary boss prior to Ward's arrival last season, winning five of nine games in charge.
