Crewe have relieved manager Steve Holland of his duties, placing veteran Dario Gradi back in charge of the bottom club.
Only this morning their official website placed an article from Holland saying how he would not quit the job, but he appears to have been forcibly removed from the post with talks ongoing with Chairman John Bowler over his future. Holland has been with the club since 1992, graduating through the ranks from youth coach to manager last summer.
Gradi spent 24 years at the helm before assuming the role of Technical Director when Holland took the top job.
