Elvis To Get The Robins Rockin'?

Cheltenham have signed former Leicester striker Elvis Hammond ahead of Saturday's game with the Bulls.

The Ghanaian arrives until January after being a part of boss Martin Allen's short time at Leicester, where he scored one of the goals when the Foxes won 3-1 at Edgar Street before suffering an ankle injury that cost him nearly 18 months of his career. Allen told the local press: "Elvis was at Fulham and Leicester, but he had bad ankle injury. He has trained with us for two weeks and I wanted to make sure he is back to full fitness before we pursue it."

The Robins have also removed Lee Ridley from the transfer list, with Allen looking for his Delap-style ability: "His long throw is a massive asset, but he has a nice left foot and can play too."
