Ainsworth to return?

In today's edition of the Hereford Times, Sports Editor, Richard Prime reports that "The Bulls are hoping to have Lionel Ainsworth in their side after making an offer to bring the flying winger back to Edgar Street from Watford on loan."

Bulls News understands that the offer was made a couple of days ago and a positive response is expected.

In his four month spell at Edgar Street during season 2007/08, Ainsworth made a total of nineteen first team appearances scoring eight goals including hat-tricks against Yeovil and Stockport. However, his ability to provide a speedy outlet for a counter attack is what he is most remembered for.

If a swift conclusion to the negotiations and early announcement can be achieved it is certain to prove a boost to the dwindling gates at Edgar Street.
