Accy hope to Boost Attendance

Accrington Stanley find it difficult to attract many people to watch their games. In fact their average gate so far this season is just 1775, the lowest in the Football League.

However, according to their website, they think they might have found an extra reason to go to their game against Bournemouth this afternoon, in the shape of local model Toni Ainsworth.

21 year old Toni is currently studying for a degree in Business and Finance, and is also learning Spanish. She will shortly be featured in Nuts magazine and is hoping to go on to make it as a professional model.

The club says it's delighted that Toni will be at this afternoon's game. She is said to be 'looking forward to meeting everyone at the club'.

Accrington Stanley chief executive Rob Heys said: "We are always happy to support a young person in our area who has ambitions and it is good for the club to work together with Toni."

Toni said: "It’s really exciting but a lot of people have helped encourage me. I’m still single and looking for any eligible bachelors."

Accrington Stanley 'willingly' supplied her with a replica shirt.
