Swindon Town have made the short journey to Aldershot Town for their Paint Trophy game this evening. They make a slightly longer journey next Friday to play Hereford United at Edgar Street.
Swindon have put out a strong side: P Smith, J Smith, Kanyuka, Ifil, Amankwaah, Timlin, McGovern, McNamee, Easton, Cox, Peacock.
Substitutes: Brezovan, Marshall, Allen, Casal, Paynter.
Score after 90 minutes 2-2. Penalties to follow. Swindon eventually won 7-6.
Meanwhile former Bull, Ryan Green, has turned out for Bristol Rovers in their Paint game at Bournemouth after many months out injured. Sammy Igoe, who came to Edgar Street for a short spell last season, is playing for Bournemouth. Igoe scored in their 3-0 win.
Finally Hereford United join this competition in the next round. The draw takes place on Saturday Morning on Sky.
Hereford are in the Southern Section. Other clubs in the Southern section who went straight to round two are: Walsall, Wycombe Wanderers, Cheltenham Town, Peterborough United, Gillingham, MK Dons and Luton Town.
