Goalkeeper Darren Randolph pulled off a string of saves to repeatedly deny Leeds but the Bulls finally succumbed by a solitary goal at Elland Road.
Andy Robinson's 72nd minute strike was the only difference at the end but Leeds peppered the Bulls goalmouth with nineteen on-target shots only to find Randolph in top form. New signing Bruno N'Gotty started for the Bulls, one of three changes to the starting XI, and had a hectic debut as wave after wave of Leeds forwards charged forward.
