Swindon manager Maurice Malpas was relieved his side came through the Paint Trophy tie at Aldershot this evening.
"The penalties were the easy bit because it was a pathetic to poor performance. We never got up to a pace and Aldersot passed the ball for fun," said Malpas.
"It was not a good start and I don't know why we started so poorly. It is something we will need to look at and find out the answer to."
It is not yet known if either Hereford United's Graham Turner and/or John Trewick watched the game.
