League One gates continue their early season fall. Seven of the ten home sides over the weekend recorded gates under their averages with only the Bulls, Tranmere, and Walsall recording better attendances. Leeds starlet Fabien Delph has signed a new four year deal despite interest from the Premier League.

Jimmy Harvey expects to name former Morecambe midfielder Michael Knowles as his new no.2. He played under Harvey for eight years at Christie Park. Former Bull Gary Hooper made the League one team of the week after scoring a hat-trick for Scunthorpe. The League One side also had two each from Leyton Orient and MK Dons.

Oldham have signed former Aberdeen defender Richie Byrne on a one month contract. The free agent left back is a former Eire B international. Cheltenham will not be offering deals to ex-Bull Trevor Benjamin or rumoured Bulls trialist Nick Chadwick after their transfer window signings, Keith Downing has confirmed.
