Leeds United put out a team with nine changes from last weekend for this evening's Carling Cup game against Hartlepool at Elland Road.
Manager Gary McAllister must have wondered if he had made the right decision to put out a weakened team after Hartlepool scored after just 90 seconds. However Leeds equalised through Robert Snodgrass.
Pool went ahead again on 33 minutes and it wasn't until the 57th minutes that Leeds drew level through Enoch Showunmi.
Andy Robinson score the winner for Leeds in injury time.
Leeds squad: Ankergren, Hughes, Michalik, Huntington, Parker, Snodgrass (Beckford 36), Prutton, Howson, Kilkenny, Robinson, Showunmi (Becchio 70). Subs: Lucas, Webb, White, Elliott, Delph.
The game was watched by 14,559.
Next at Elland Road is Saturday's League One clash with Hereford United.
