One to watch on the highlights has to be John Eustace's alleged own goal in Watford's 2-2 draw with Reading. The ball was, according to reports, four yards wide of the goalmouth when Eustace challenged for the ball, sending it out for a corner. The assistant referee signalled a goal for Reading and ref Stuart Attwell, on the Premier League list this season, awarded it. Michael McIndoe scored twice, proper conventional goals using the alloted posts, as Bristol City beat Doncaster 4-1.
Stephen Gleeson scored Stockport's goal in their 1-1 draw with Swindon. Lee Collins gave away a penalty as Port Vale, minus the injured John McCombe, lost 4-1 at home to Macclesfield. Chris Hargreaves scored Torquay's second as they beat Eastbourne 2-0. It's now goal machine Gareth Sheldon with two more for Tamworth at Blyth Spartans to make it five in six games. Danny Carey-Bertram came off the bench and scored his first for Bath City as they drew 1-1 with Eastleigh.
