A bit more on Nick Chadwick

The 25-year-old six-foot striker was born on October 26th 1982 in Stoke-on-Trent. Chadwick started his career as a youth player at Everton. After failing to break in to the first team on a regular basis and loan spells at Derby County and Millwall Chadwick was transferred to Plymouth Argyle for a fee of £250,000 early in 2005.

He scored Argyle's fastest ever goal after 11 seconds against Crystal Palace in a Championship match on December 17, 2005 but his career has been blighted by injuries. At the end of season 07/08, he was released along with five other Argyle players. A trial with fellow League 1 Club Walsall failed to produce a contract offer and although interest was shown by struggling Cheltenham Town Chadwick has chosen to link up with The Bulls on an, as yet, unknown contract term.

Although his recent successes have been few and far between, it most be remembered that his opportunities have been severely restricted and that the early promise may well return with the help of a productive Bulls’ midfield and a decent run of starts.

Welcome to Hereford Nick Chadwick...that'll give 'em something else to worry about in Saarfend.
