After this evening's friendly at Edgar Street, West Brom coach, Peter Grant, spoke to the Baggies Official website.
"It's always good for the strikers to get goals and I was pleased with our night's work.
"We had a lot of young players out there - particularly across the middle of the park - and the lads showed a little bit of character after going one down.
"Hereford are a week ahead of us in their preparations while our team were probably playing together for the first time. But it ended up being quite comfortable and we could have won by more.
"It was good for the older boys to play 90 minutes and there were plenty of encouraging signs from the younger players.
"We even brought on Adil Nabi, an Under-15 Academy player, for the last ten minutes and he showed one or two nice touches."
