News Round Up

Danny Carey-Bertram is on trial at Burton, where he played 75 minutes of their 3-1 loss to Nottm Forest. Nigel Clough wants another look at the former Bull against Walsall at the weekend, with Burton's official website adding: Clough explained that there was a bizarre FA rule that states a player can only play two trial games, even though they are only friendlies before a formal arrangement has to be entered into.

Scunthorpe have stopped internet ticket sales after Leeds fans started buying tickets for the home end for their game on August 9th. Leicester are set to miss out on striker target Paul Dickov, with the veteran set for a move to Blackpool. Oldham have signed midfielder Kevin Maher following his release from Southend.

Cheltenham appear to have failed in their bid to sign Michael Boulding at the last minute. Boulding had agreed terms with the club, but has apparently changed his mind about the move with brother Rory and the pair are now expected to move to Bradford.
