A large collection of Bulls programmes are up for auction at Ludlow Racecourse on July 11th.
Mullocks Specialist Auctioneers are hosting the sale which will include Lot 662 - Hereford United Football Programmes: Huge selection Home & Away 1971/2 onwards including pre season frendlies etc (2Boxes) Estimate £60 to £80.
The seller has given Bulls News some more details on the sale: The brief description doesn't give much justice to the contents. The collection includes virtually a full home and away set of United's first ten years in the League - including two copies of the first ever match against Reading. Most of the 1971-72 season is covered too with all the big Cup matches v Newcastle and West Ham. There is close to 1,000 programmes on offer.
Viewing for the auction is on July 10th, with the sale on the 11th and 12th. Absentee bidding can also be done online (registration required) here.
