Stevenage Re-Appoint Chipmunk

Stevenage have re-appointed Graham Westley as manager following Peter Taylor's departure.

The opinionated mantra chanting manager was manager at Broadhall Way between 2003 and 2006 after leaving his manager/owner role at Farnborough with a large chunk of their FA Cup run money. He led Boro to two play-off campaigns with his teams built on the slogan "Attitude is more important than ability", but left as fans grew tired of his ways.

Since leaving Broadhall Way he had brief stints at Rushden and Kettering, but spent most of his time giving his own special opinion to Non-League Paper readers. His suggested return brought an instant backlash from fans. Internet forum BoroChat closed almost immediately in protest at the return, but in a statement Chairman Phil Wallace claims that Westley's return will not see a return of the Westley brand of football:

"He’s had a while to gather his thoughts about how to lead a club to success and has learnt over the last few years that Stevenage fans, including myself, want to watch a high tempo passing game played in the right spirit."
