News Round Up

In the Conference play-off, Cambridge came back from two down to draw with Burton 2-2 at the Pirelli Stadium. Ex-Bulls Tony James and Mark Beesley both started for their respective sides, but Beesley was sacrificed for Lee McEvilly to bring the U's back into the game. Stevenage striker Steve Morrison has handed in a transfer request, with Crewe and Plymouth looking at the 22 goal striker.

Former Wolves goalkeeper Mark Kendall has died at the age of 49 of a suspected heart attack. He was Graham Turner's no. 1 for their back-to-back promotions from Divisions Four and Three in the late 80's. Torquay are to raise prices next season regardless of promotion. It will cost £15 to stand at Plainmoor next season after they did not reduce prices following relegation 12 months ago.
