The Football League's official ball suppliers, Mitre, have shown their commitment to League One by producing 24 different club coloured balls for the coming season. The scheme operated in the Championship last year and is to be extended to include L1 in season 08/09.
Each club in League 1 will play with their own balls at home games and the deal is believed to include the rights to sell replica balls in Club shops.
