Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that the loan signing of Sammy Igoe was the final piece in the jigsaw to have cover in all areas.
"I felt you want people keen to come in and play. Sammy Igoe's reaction to coming to us was first class and we're delighted to have him here.
"With the number of games we've got in a short space of time, five games in fifteen days, we did not want to leave ourselves short.
"We've got enough of cover, alternatives, for possible changes during those five games to see us through them."
With promotion now a real prospect Turner hopes his players will be able to cope with any pressure.
"There is expectation and tension about the situation now.
"That applies at any club chasing promotion or fighting relegation but it's certainly more enjoyable being at the top of the table."
