If Cardiff can play in Europe - why not Hereford?

Hereford United supporters may be secretly hoping that Cardiff City can win the FA Cup and then be given a place in Europe.

Whilst the English FA appear to be stalling on saying whether they would allow Cardiff to represent them, FIFA talk of giving Cardiff 'a wild-card entry into Europe' could sway opinions at the English FA.

Meanwhile there is a school of thought that if Cardiff can take part in and win the FA Cup, then teams like Hereford United should be able to enter the Welsh equivalent.

And should the Bulls win the Welsh Cup, as they did in 1989, they should be able to compete in Europe.
