Rochdale Beat Accrington

Rochdale beat Accrington 4-1, thanks largely to an Adam Le Fondre hat-trick, in today's only League Two match.

The win moves the Spotland side up to 56 points, five short of the play-offs with three games in hand. Today's win was only their fifth home success of the season. The heavy loss confirms Accrington as having the worst defence in the division despite their mid-table status. They have conceded 70 goals so far this season, nine more than the next worst defenders Chester.

The next League Two action is on Friday, with MK Dons facing Peterboro and Stockport entertaining Macclesfield. Both are evening kick-offs.
