Rotherham have confirmed that loanee Joe Widdowson has returned to West Ham as the club are under a transfer embargo and cannot extend his loan. Their current protection from creditors expires tomorrow, and they are expected to enter Administration with talks to interested parties stalling.

Mansfield have told caretaker boss Paul Holland he will remain in charge for the weekend after a positive display against the Bulls. Protracted takeover talks are close to finalising a deal with a consortium of local businessmen, while two more bidders wait in the wings. Stockport have raised nearly £50,000 in the first week of their pixel sale to get the £1million deposit to buy back their ground.

Bury have rejected a move by Macclesfield for defender Paul Morgan, who played for current Silkmen boss Keith Alexander at Lincoln. Torquay will fly to Friday's FA Trophy semi-final at York. Their usual coach will also make the trip to take them from the airport to Leeds' training ground.
