Lot of points to be played for says Hereford coach

Hereford United travel to the Field Mill stadium tomorrow and although Mansfield are bottom but one of League Two, they are about to appoint a new manager which often gives clubs in that position a life-line.

Bulls' coach John Trewick is aware of that and has told BBC Hereford asnd Worcester that his team must concentrate and make sure they take the three points on offer.

"The only game that's important is Mansfield on Tuesday," said Trewick.

"They'll certainly not want to go into another game and lose at home so we've got to be at our best.

With Hereford currently in fourth spot a win at Mansfield could close the gap between them and the top three. However Trewick is well-aware that only three of the top four will go up to League One automatically.

"It's going to be close. When you think about it eleven games is a quarter of the season. There's an awful lot of points to be played for and an awful lot of football to be played. A lot of strange things can happen when the pressure comes to bear.

"I think we just have to keep plugging away as we have for the whole season."
