Bury manager Alan Knill praised both goalkeeepers in his post match press conference as reported on the Official Bury website.
"I think Darren Randolph is top class and we were fortunate to get him on loan from Charlton. I thought that Wayne Brown for Hereford put in a good performance as well.
"He pulled off a great save from a great Andy Bishop header but then they went to the other end and hit the bar. It was a much better second half than first half.
"The conditions didn't help; I think we had everything in that first half so full credit to both sets of players. It's not easy playing in weather like that.
"Both teams tried to pass the ball and tried to play the game the right way.
"This is a massive point for us because nobody expected us to come to Edgar Street and get anything."
