Ex Bull Watch

Starting at the top, John Eustace started against former employers Stoke City for Watford in a huge clash at the top of the table. The game ended 0-0. Eustace however was sent off in the first-half. Paul Parry scored for Cardiff City in their 1-1 draw at Colchester. Sherjill Macdonald was a second-half substitution as West Brom were crushed 4-1 at home by Leicester City.

In League One, Andy Williams only made the bench for Bristol Rovers as they lost out at local rivals Cheltenham Town. A league lower, and another former striker Alan Connell started for Brentford as they lost 3-1 at Morecambe, whilst Michael Rose played as Stockport claimed their eighth consecutive away win.

Stuart Fleetwood was the hero as he struck twice in opening five minutes, to send Forest Green to victory over Halifax Town. Scott Tynan kept a vital clean sheet as Northwich kept up their slender hopes of surviving the drop with a 2-0 success over Crawley Town.

In other news, Tim Sills will be visiting Wembley at the end of the season with Torquay as they overcame York City in the FA Trophy. They lost 1-0 on the day but went through 2-1 on aggregate.

Finally, Adam Stansfield has signed a new deal with Exeter City to keep him at the club beyond the end of the current season. The former Bull is currently sidelined, but has scored nine times this season.
