Hereford United's three points from Field Mill last night put them back into third place in League Two as Shrewsbury did the Bulls a favour by holding Darlington to a goal-less draw.
1 Peterborough 37 35 77
2 Milton Keynes Dons 36 34 75
3 Hereford 36 24 70
4 Darlington 36 30 69
5 Wycombe 37 12 63
6 Stockport 36 13 62
7 Rotherham 37 7 58
Hereford face fifth-place Wycombe on Saturday at Edgar Street.
Meanwhile the Bulls created a new record for themselves last evening with their 13th away win this season. That's the most away wins ever whilst in the League. And there are still four more away games to play - Lincoln, MK Dons, Darlington and Brentford.
Finally Hereford United defender Trent McClenahan told BBC Hereford and Worcester about how goalkeeper Wayne Brown was the hero of the evening.
"We owe a lot to Browny. He pulled off a few really good saves, top quality saves, especially the penalty and a little header.
"He done extremely well."
