Bishop will need watching says Hereford Manager

Bury striker Andy Bishop will need watching carefully tomorrow says Graham Turner. The Hereford United manager says he is a good player.

"I think he will be a handful but we have got to be capable of taking care of players of his calibre," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It is important that we do get the ball down and pass it. It's important that we do play the game as we want to and not let them dominate us."

Bury manager Alan Knill has also been talking about the game and one particular player who had he still have been at Edgar Street might have caused Bury a lot of trouble.

"I'm glad (Sherjill) MacDonald has gone back because I watched him a week before Hereford took him, playing for West Brom, and thought, he's not bad at all."

Just like Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, Knill isn't happy with the timing of international games this coming week. Two of his players, Darren Randolph and David Buchanan, have been allowed to meet up late with their international squads

"It's ridiculous that someone looked at the fixture list and decided to put an international fixture on an Easter weekend, where clubs would lose some of their best players.

"Graham has the same situation, losing Stephen Gleeson away with Ireland. People need to see some sense at times."

As regards team news for tomorrow's match Dave Challinor is out for Bury.

For Hereford Robbie Threlfall, Steve Guinan, Mike Ingham and Luke Webb will miss out and Glesson is a slight doubt after an illness. Guinan however is said to be close to full fitness and may feature on Monday against Lincoln.

New signing Ryan Esson will be on the bench as sub-goalie.
