Rob Bickerton, Shrewsbury Town's recently appointed managing director, says he looking forward to the visit of Hereford United on Saturday to the new stadium.
"I'm really looking forward to the Hereford game as it will be the first game at the new stadium where the visitors have brought a large support. In the three home games I've seen so far there have only been a couple of hundred supporters," Bickerton told the Shrewsbury Town website.
"Having spoken to people at the club I can feel how exciting the local derby with Hereford is and with them looking like bringing more than 1500, based on ticket sales and I know the Shrewsbury fans will be attracted to this game.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the stadium full with a lot of fans and a lot of noise.
"I'm also expecting a good performance from what I believe is an exciting Shrewsbury Town side."
