Another Loan Player Possible says Turner

In his post match interview Hereford United manager Graham Turner said there was a prospect of another player coming in on Monday.

"Ben Smith might have a chance of being back for Tuesday," said Turner as reported on the Official Website. "There's the prospect of another player coming in on Monday.

"With the injuries we've got we've applied for an emergency loan."

Of this afternoon's game Turner said he thought that 'we done enough in the first half to win it.'

"There will be some games when you want to play better. In the end it is getting the points. You've only got to look at Darlington to see how difficult it can be to win at home.

"Chesterfield have been a good side for most of this season, just hit a bad run. In the end you just had to get the points from it."

Turner was pleased not to concede today.

"Clean sheets will win us something this season let alone anything else. We were in that winning position at half time and we had to make sure we were not cautious but not silly."

Meanwhile Lee Richardson, the Chesterfield manager, told the Daily Mail:

"We were in control for 88 minutes but we failed to defend two free-kicks and paid the penalty,"
