Speaking to Sky Sports, Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson was pleased with his side:
"To bounce back from the three defeats as we have done is really pleasing but we've threatened to do that three or four times this season and not quite done it. I thought Jack (Lester) was the instigator of most of our best stuff in the first half alongside Jamie Ward and I don't think Hereford could handle them.
"Allied to that the rest of the team worked very hard. Conditions were difficult and there were a few tired legs at the end but I don't think we deserved any less than what we got. It's the kind of performance we have been putting on this season, we've dipped of late but there's plenty of games to go between now and the end of the season and more performances like that and we'll be OK."
