Details of two new directors for the ESG (Edgar Street Grid) Herefordshire Ltd board has been released.
Two of Herefordshire’s young, successful business people have been recruited to help develop the plan for the regeneration of Hereford over the next 20 years, starting with a new £200 (surely somewhat more - ed) shopping and leisure project. They both join the board of ESG Herefordshire.
Jane Preston, aged 39, is managing director of Riverside Training in the city, a company she founded 12 years ago, which specialises in work based training for young people. She previously worked in management in the retail sector. Jane, married with a teenage son, is the daughter of a Preston-on-Wye farmer. She is also a magistrate.
Joining her is Glenn Jones, 42, son of another county farmer, who owns the award winning Pearl Lake caravan park at Shobdon and is also a director of the new Visit Herefordshire tourism organisation. He has been both county and national YFC chairman. Glenn and his wife, Hannah have two young children.
It isn't immediately known whether either of the two new directors have any interest in Hereford United.
