Form is temporary, class is permanent, but when it comes to choosing FourFourTwo’s 50 Best Players In The Football League, we need you to consider both.
Just because a player’s scored three goals in three games doesn’t mean he’s the best in the division. But on the other hand, if a top-class player hasn’t performed this season, how can he justifiably walk away with the prize? That’s where you need to use your judgement.
Meanwhile former Hereford United captain Tamika Mkandawire is on shortlist for the best player in the League One.
Central defender Mkandawire started his football life as a trainee at West Brom, before moving to Hereford, who he helped secure promotion to the Football League.
Mkandawire has been a rock at the heart of the Orient defence this season, and has been a key figure in the east Londoners flying start to the season.
