New Hereford United Book Selling Well

The new Hereford United book, A Corner Kick from the Middle of Nowhere, has now been available for nearly two weeks and author Mitch Stansbury is delighted with how well the book is selling.

Last Saturday Mitch, pictured with his nephew Jacob, (Photo published with kind permission of Steve Niblett) signed copies of the book at Waterstones in Hereford and the store had to order more copies earlier this week.

Mitch has told Bulls News that he is delighted by the reception the book has been given.

"Supporters I've never met came to me at Wycombe and said some very nice things about the book.

"I'm really chuffed!"

The book covers the nine long years Hereford United spent in the Conference and at the end of the book this is how Mitch summed up the time.

Our Conference journey had been a incredible roller-coaster ride, on occasions being minutes from disaster, on others, minutes away from glory. From humiliation at Hayes to glorious failure at Filbert Street, from scoring with a swede to scoring a goal at Dover that probably saved the club. From the palatial surrounds of Rushden's Nene Park to the near-derelict of the Gump and their Lawn, and from the misplaced passes of electrians and schoolteachers to the breathtaking skill of two lads who would become Welsh Internationals, we had pretty much seen everything.

The book is on sale at Off The Wall, Moo and Waterstones in Hereford and can be ordered from Amazon.
