Bury manager Chris Casper thought his side didn't deserve to lose:
"I'm gutted for everybody because I thought everything we were looking for was there. We had tempo in the game, we had good movement up front, we retained possession well, the two midfielders won their battles, defenders defended very well, Jim's had nothing to do and then Robinson smacks one in the top corner from a bit of a tight angle and we've got nothing - that's football.
"Fair play to Hereford, they've stuck in but we created a lot of chances and we should have killed the game off but we've not done that.
"Hereford had one shot on goal in the first half and I suppose the first five minutes were a little bit nervy, but we saw that through and we stuck in
"Ben Futcher, Stevie Haslam and Paul Morgan were excellent today because Guinan and Robinson are a handful.
"I have to be careful on how I choose my words, but I thought the referee didn't have a great game.
"Glynn Hurst was clean through one v one. It was a foul, inside or outside the box doesn't matter, he was their last man and it would have been a red card. We don't want to see players sent off, but those are the rules. The lad brought Glynn down whose clean through and we all know what Hursty is like from 12 yards - he's lethal."
For Hereford coach John Trewick as reported by the Mail on Sunday:
"It was a narrow win, but I love narrow wins. I suppose you look at the 90 minutes and I thought we had enough possession to have done something."
And Ben Smith commented on BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"Great victory. These are the sort of ones that at the end of the season could be the difference between promotion and not promotion.
"It was a tight game. Probably a draw would have been a fair result but Theo came up with a little bit of magic that's won us the game."
