Brentford have secured first option on land to build their proposed new stadium. The 7.6 acre site will contain a 20,000 seater stadium for football and rugby, community projects, and housing with Griffin Park demolished for housing. The site is said to have better access from the M4 than the existing stadium.
Mansfield's new Chief Executive has pleaded with fans not to boycott games. The club is losing £10,000 a week but is claimed to be debt free. Rotherham are to move from their Millmoor home, with a £4,000 a week rent bill forcing them to look elsewhere. Each supporter through the turnstiles effectively pays £2 towards the rent.
Ex-Bull Neil Grayson is being considered for the Stafford managers job on a permanent basis. Grayson and Kevin Street, a former triallist at Edgar Street, took the job on a temporary basis and claimed a goalless draw in their first match. Northwich have confirmed that the court action brought by the Inland Revenue has been dropped with a repayment schedule agreed.

Bournemouth are considering Administration. The League One relegation candidates are £4million in debt and are said to be so broke that they cannot afford to sack manager Kevin Bond. The Cherries are in talks with potential investors, but have been losing money consistently for most of their history. Entering Administration would leave the club with just three points, 16 short of safety.
