Bristol Rovers' boss Paul Trollope will not be bidding for former Bulls striker Stuart Fleetwood, citing the player's lack of experience at League One level.
Fleetwood, 21, has been the subject of a bid from a League club, but Trollope denies that it was him: "Of course he is of interest because he is scoring goals and we are interested in anyone who scores goals, but it hasn't come to the stage of a formal bid and I don't think it is going to.
"We are not going to bring in people who are not proven at this level. We want players who have a proven track record and who are going to improve us and add quality to our squad."
Plymouth had been rumoured to be the unnamed bidders but the Forest Green board turned the offer down, announcing that they were looking for a six figure sum for the player.
