Hereford United coach John Trewick spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after last night's game at Elland Road.
"Part of what we were trying to coach was to get forward, and play higher up the pitch, said Trewick.
"We spoke to the players about it again at half time, and we simply did it."
And this from defender John McCombe:
"It was great to come here and get a result, we could have got a few more really, as Theo Robinson had a couple of chances in the first half.
"A lot of my mates are Leeds fans, and I've never liked them, so it was great to play here, and win."
More praise for Hereford united came from Former Leeds legend Eddie Grey:
One man who was impressed with the Bulls was the former Leeds legend, and manager, Eddie Gray.
"I thought Hereford played very well, for the majority of the game they were in control," Grey told BBC H&W.
"We resorted to playing long balls, but the central defenders dealt with it very well.
"Credit to the owner, manager, chairman, as he's so clearly got a good side, who believe in what they are doing."
