Darlington manager Dave Penney gave an interview to the BBC after today's game at Edgar Street.
A few of his comments:
"We've conceded five in thirteen, then we go and concede five in one which is pretty unbelievable.
"They (Hereford) were bright, they were sharp.
"Third goal killed us. Go in 2-1 at half time - I though it was a fairly open game which could have gone either way until that.
"Then we are chasing the game to get back in and we get hit on the break. They took their chances and we didn't.
"Theo Robinson and Ainsworth; they are bright and sharp and we struggled to contain them all the game. We got stretched."
Meanwhile in his post match press conference Graham Turner admitted it was one of those days when things went right.
"I thought we played well against a decent side and the goals went in. It was a very good performance.
"They were always a threat and we had to defend well at times and had a bit of luck at times but I thought the quality of our play was first-class.
"It's a good day's work - the start of a big week for us."
