There's little doubt that Graham Turner is a well respected in the football world. Seldom does a week go by without an opposing manager uttering kind words about the Hereford United manager.
This weekend it is the turn of Darlington manager Dave Penney.
"We've had a tough six weeks and Hereford have had a good season so far," said Penney.
"It is a difficult place to go and the pitch has a bit of a slope so it will be a tough game. Graham is a good manager and he has been at this level for a long time now. He knows a good player and gets teams playing. Obviously he knows a player because he had Rob Purdie there last season. It doesn't surprise me that they are up there. He always seems to have to rebuild every year but it's not a surprise to me to see them up there."
Speaking about Purdie, Penney suggested that the former Bull might take on a more attacking role against his former club.
The utility player has impressed in several different positions already this season but with Johann Smith still feeling the effects of an ankle injury Purdie could play out wide on the left.
