Speculation that Leeds United are staying close to Hereford for a couple of days, as opposed to somewhere like the Celtic Manor at Newport, before next Friday's FA Cup game appears to be correct.
Leeds have a League One game at Bournemouth tomorrow - the same evening as Hereford United entertain Mansfield. It is thought probable that Leeds will not return to Yorkshire after the game but will travel to Herefordshire on Wednesday.
They are expected to train at a local ground before the Cup game.
Whilst it hasn't been revealed exactly where they are staying, it may not be too far from the venue for the Hereford United Sportsmans dinner next Thursday night at the Three Counties Hotel.
Perhaps Graham Turner might invite Ken Bates, Dennis Wise and new assistant Dave Bassett as guests to the function. No doubt Wise would have a few good tales to tell.
