There is concern that a proposal to move some car parking from the City Centre to the Eastern Side of Hereford might affect parking close to Hereford United's ground.
The proposal has been made by the City Centre Partnership and revealed by the Edgar Street Grid organisation who are looking at the idea.
Currently there is usually enough parking either in or close to Merton Meadow but with Hereford United playing so well gates are expected to increase which could mean extra parking requirements.
Meanwhile it looks as though the expected planning application from Hereford United and their developers, the Richardsons, for the redevelopment of the Blackfriars End will be delayed.
Graham Turner has said he hoped an application would be made by the end of the year, but with one of the main potential businesses dropping out, another has to be found which might delay the process as their requirements may be different to the fitness centre business that is no longer coming to the Blackfriars End of the stadium.
